Between the small village of Le Frêche and Labastide d’Armagnac, Jouatmaou is ideally located in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac Landais. Nelly Lacave, so aptly named, represents the third generation of this family of winemakers attached to traditional know-how. The house dates from 1795 and, unusually, the family sleeps on its treasure. An underground cellar made of clay and divided into several rooms houses the barrels made from the oak trees of the property. There, vintages from Baco and Folle Blanche grape varieties are matured.
The domain proposes you to the sale on the spot or in the store of producers Ô Champs in Villeneuve: Armagnacs – Aperitif “Mystère” red and white, Armagnacs Arrangés.
Visits of the cellar and the small family museum take place by appointment and for groups up to 20 people.
