Ecoprint, or plant printing, is a technique for printing plants directly onto fabrics, allowing their shapes to be collected.
Dyeing is an indirect printing technique: a broth of plants is added to the mordanted fabric to recover their color.
The mordants can be varied to give darker or brighter effects, making it possible to create several shades with a single plant.
These are fascinating techniques, which, when combined little by little, enrich my workshop recipes.
