In 1914, G. Sabatier, an Arts et Manufactures engineer from Bordeaux, rebuilt them. Shaped like a horseshoe, with a capacity of 2,500, they are equally suited to Spanish bullfighting, which takes place in a circular space, and to the Landaise race, which prefers rectangular spaces.
